Ministry Team building
[PeopleKeys] helped me with my church plants, to make sure
we replicated what God was doing, and what He had
laid on my heart.
– Bishop Joseph Garlington, Covenant Church of Pittsburgh
Understanding others and ourselves allows us to appreciate individual differences and establish effective communication to build and maintain positive relationships.
Using DISC for team building will improve each individual’s self-understanding of his or her personality style, strengths, potential limitations, and communication style. By increasing your own behavioral intelligence and learning these things about those you interact with most often, you’ll improve communication, decrease misunderstanding and conflict, and work together in a more unified and cohesive way, all playing to strengths.
We are all part of the body of Christ and must work together just as the members of our own body must work in harmony together. Jesus himself chose twelve disciples with very different personality styles but taught them to serve one and wait in unity together for the Spirit to empower them for ministry.
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Is your team all pulling in the same direction and aligned with your goals?
Having your staff, volunteers and congregation take individual ownership of corporate goals is vital to the growth and success of any ministry. PeopleKeys has been instrumental in helping churches and ministries of all sizes to reach the next level.
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
